Role Overview

The Kitchen Hand supports kitchen operations by maintaining cleanliness, assisting with basic food preparation, and ensuring hygiene standards are met at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
  • Assist with basic food preparation as directed
  • Clean kitchen surfaces, floors, and workstations
  • Dispose of waste correctly
  • Follow food safety and hygiene standards
  • Support chefs and cooks during busy service periods

Essential Requirements

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Understanding of basic food hygiene and safety
  • Physical fitness for standing and manual tasks
  • Reliability and strong work ethic

Desirable

  • Previous kitchen or hospitality experience
